Sara Butler, is a sparkling multi-media artist and prolific creator of enchanting works of art. Sara was always an “artiste.” Her earliest work can still be found taped to her mother’s refrigerator or framed and displayed at her childhood home. Now her delightful and elegant creations grace coffee tables and mantles around the world.
As the creator and artist at her own Sarabi Design Studio for many years, Sara masterfully brought new life to glass, clay, and fabric. Glass wall monsters, menorahs, and hand-loomed scarves were in high demand while glass trays, dolls, candlesticks and clocks are truly unique and masterful.
With a love for color and texture, she dove into a career as a designer of enchanting glass art, home décor, and artistic gift pieces. Sara has a background in a wide variety of art mediums, and began teaching her craft and became well-loved and well-respected by her students.
Sara was born with a passion for people and a passion to create. She has an eye for graceful style with just a touch of humor and mischief. From that fun, creative spirit comes the new South Bay Artist Studio, which will host classes taught by Sara and a brilliant cast of local artisans who want to share their craft and their art with people looking to learn, create and have fun.
She's so excited to share her studio with the South Bay!
